Domain Records 
==============

Clicking a domain name from the :ref:`domains_list` page will take you to the domain records page, where
you can manage the DNS records for the domain.  

Add Record
----------

To add a record to your domain's zone, select the record type in from the selection box.  Then 
click :guilabel:`Add Record` to open the add record window for the type selected.  Once complete,
click :guilabel:`Update` to create the record.

The new record will show up in the list of records.

Record List 
-----------

The list of records is sorted alphabetically by **type**.  

.. Note::
   Some record types can be edited directly by clicking :guilabel:`Edit`.  For those that cannot
   be edited, you can delete the existing record and add a new one.

Download Zonefile
-----------------

On the lower right of the domains list window, there is a link: :guilabel:`Download zone AXFR`.
Clicking this will allow you to download the entire zone in plaintext ``AXFR`` format. 

Syminet Nameservers
-------------------

The Syminet Nameservers which answer for the domain are listed at the bottom, to confirm you 
have the proper DNS Nameservers set at your domain registrar:
