Profile ======= This is where you can update your contact information, password, and some other preferences. Your current username and contact information is displayed at the top. Click :guilabel:`Edit` to update. .. Hint:: :guilabel:`Edit` also allows you to change your username and/or email address. .. Note:: For security reasons, :ref:`regular subusers ` can only update their email address. Only :ref:`Admins ` can change regular subuser usernames. Slice Limit ----------- To protect our systems from abuse, there is a maximum number of :doc:`slices <../slices/index>` allowed under a new account. The default for new accounts is **4**. To request an increase, click :guilabel:`request increase`. FlexIP Limit ------------ To protect our systems from abuse, there is a maximum number of :doc:`FlexIPs <../networking/flexips>` allowed under an account. The default for new accounts is **2**. To request an increase, click :guilabel:`request increase`. .. Note:: This is an account-wide setting, and only :ref:`Admin ` users can request :doc:`slice <../slices/index>` and :doc:`flexip <../networking/flexips>` increases. Password -------- Click :guilabel:`Update` to reset your password. As a security measure, you will need to enter your existing password prior to entering a new one. .. Hint:: If you have forgotten your password, you can still recover it. Make sure you are logged out of the panel, then visit the `Syminet Cloud login page `_ and click :guilabel:`Forgot Password`. 2-Step Authentication --------------------- If enabled, all users will be emailed a 6-digit PIN code upon login. They will be presented with a form to submit this token in order to verify the login. .. Note:: This setting is currently **account-wide**. It is configurable only by the :doc:`Primary User <../users/index>`, and applies to all :doc:`users <../users/index>` in the account. Notifications ------------- You can set some options to control the amount of automated comunications you receive from the Syminet Cloud. Events ~~~~~~ If enabled, the system will periodically send you a summary of events that have recently occurred for your account. Events are things like creation and modification of resources, slice powercycles, and so on. Events are attached to the users who performed the actions, and are also logged in the :ref:`events_page`. Events are only sent if they have *not* been viewed on your :ref:`events_page`. .. Note:: :ref:`Regular subusers ` only receive notifications pertaining to resources they have permissions to. :ref:`Admins ` receive *all* notifications. .. _invoice_notifications: Invoices ~~~~~~~~ This setting is available to :ref:`Admins ` and :ref:`users with billing permissions `. If enabled, PDF invoices are emailed as they are generated. This can be disabled if you would rather not see them, e.g. :ref:`payment is made in advance `, or the primary account holder has delegated billing to a :ref:`user with billing permissions `. For more details, please see :doc:`billing` to understand how our billing works. .. Note:: Receipts are always sent whenever a card is charged. .. Hint:: All past invoices are downloadable at any time in your :ref:`billing_history`. .. _auto_enable_backups: Auto-Enable Settings -------------------- There are a number of settings to assist with creating slices quickly. Auto-Enable SSH Keys ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Automatically check :guilabel:`SSH Keys` on on :doc:`create slice <../slices/create>` pages. There are three options: * None * Mine only * All Auto-Enable Backups ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Automatically check :guilabel:`Automatic Backups` on :doc:`create slice <../slices/create>` pages. Auto-Enable Private IP ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Automatically check :guilabel:`Private IP` on on :doc:`create slice <../slices/create>` pages. Auto-Enable IPv6 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Automatically check :guilabel:`IPv6 Address` on :doc:`create slice <../slices/create>` pages. Close Account ------------- We hate to see you go! But also want to make sure it is easy and straightforward to close any account whenever you want. In order to close your account you will first need to delete all of your resources. You can then click :guilabel:`Close Account` to proceed. The system will generate a final charge to reconcile any accrued charges for the current month, and close the account. .. Note:: If you ever want to come back, you can re-login to the panel and confirm you would like to reactivate.
